The Art of Nature VAAE Fall Arts Education Conference

I will be using the instruments and how to build them for a theatre presentation in the spring.

Our school is doing an African unit. The workshops were a wealth of ideas for me.

Thank you once again for broadening my horizons in dance education!

Great old music: great dance, good notes, will use dances in programs.

I would like to use this technology (animation) in the future.

I leave here (the conference) with such wonderful ideas.

Conference attendees supported VAAE's student arts scholarship raffle and silent auction.

I will be able to use skills from the bookmaking workshop in various grade levels.

The workshops presented here gave me fresh insights, tangible effective ideas, and inspiration to collaborate with educators throughout our school building.

Loved that we seemed to have more time for a relaxing lunch and networking. Too many superb conflicting choices!

I picked up very helpful warm-ups for adults and children and many new ideas about coaching singers and dealing with special issues for children's voices.

Colleagues enjoyed conversation, an exchange of ideas, a song-along and refreshments on Tuesday evening at the conference's Natural Connections Cafeé.

The confidence I gained from doing the dances will carry through when I teach my students.

I will be using ALL of the vocal and teaching tools from Sarah's workshops also from the percussion class - can't wait!! Thanks so much!!

The decorative art will be a great tie into the grade 5 medieval unit since it is an off-shoot of the illuminated manuscript.

These two days go so quickly!

Great offerings!

I found the puppet workshop was so great!
