CREATIVITY & HEALING
Thrilling, soulful, honest, collaborative, supportive, provocative,
community building, risk taking, inspiring... This summer exceeded my expectations
of a group joining together, exploring our own narratives and creative
talents to find ways to heal. Using a variety of medium from storytelling
to painting to paper mache, to poetry to environmental structure to singing
we opened our hearts, our curiosities, our humor, and our sense of wonder.
The imagery was strong and sustaining; par-ticipants came away with new
affirmation as artists and as responsible community members.
